On behalf of the 15th Anniversary International Thai Culture Camp 2017: The World Celebrates 100th Anniversary of Chulalongkorn University through Traditional Performing Arts, we would like to invite members of your organisation to participate in the event which will be held from 18th to 23rd January 2017. There will be around 200 students from various countries taking part.
Chulalongkorn University is the first, the oldest and one of the country’s most prestigious universities in Thailand. It was officially established on 26th March 1917 by King Vajiravudh and named after his father – King Chulalongkorn who initiated a policy to promote education in Thailand. According to the latest QS World University Rankings 2016/2017 released on 6 September 2016, Chulalongkorn University has been ranked No.1 among Thai universities, 50th in Asia and 252nd in the world.
The International Thai Culture Camp has been organised yearly since 2003 by Department of Thai Music, Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts in collaboration with Centre of Learning Network for the Region. The aim is to provide a cultural exchange platform for young generation who are interested in traditional performing arts. Camp activities include excursions, workshops and public performances.
All participants have to look after their own expenses for air tickets, visa fee, registration fee and personal use. The Organising Committee of International Thai Culture Camp will provide accommodations, meals, local transportations, excursions, cultural activities and inland travel insurance while in Thailand.
Should there be any enquiries, please do not hesitate to contact our camp representatives at any time.
Thank you very much for your kind collaboration and contribution towards the camp. I shall look forward to celebrating the 15th Anniversary International Thai Culture Camp and 100th Anniversary Chulalongkorn University with your members in Thailand soon.
